Spring of this year will see Patricia J Arnold & Co Ltd tackle a marathon 26 mile walk along the Northumberland coastline. The Northumberland Coastal Challenge Walk on 2nd May is in celebration of the company’s 30 years in business and aims to raise vital funds for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
Staff and family members undertaking the challenge will begin the walk in Bamburgh at 7.30am, taking the path south down the coast, the young and the fit aiming to arrive at Alnmouth at 3pm, everyone else just hoping to reach the finish line!
In addition to undertaking the Challenge Walk, Patricia J Arnold and Co Ltd has supported Tynedale Hospice at Home over the course of their 30th year in business with attendance at the Hospice’s inaugural fund-raising ball last spring and by sponsorship of the Christmas Light up a Life Appeal.
Alison Hands, Director of Tynedale Hospice at Home, commenting on the support from Patricia J Arnold & Co Ltd said: “Patricia has been a dedicated supporter of Tynedale Hospice at Home for a number of years and as a local charity we have always sincerely appreciated that support. Patricia’s enthusiasm for supporting Tynedale Hospice at Home began with their kindness to her mother.
Commenting, Patricia said: “I cannot thank the Hospice enough for their attention and care for my mother, and the incredible support they offered our family. It seemed very fitting whilst celebrating our 30 years in business to raise funds for this charity. The culmination of this celebratory year is the Northumberland Coastal Challenge Walk. I know everyone in the office is very much looking forward to the challenge and we hope to be able to raise some significant money along the way.”
