Accountants Aim for Sweet Success from Chocolate Charity Ball

A TEAM of accountants from Newcastle are organising a chocolate themed charity ball to raise funds for The Tiny Lives Trust and to help hit their ambitious target of raising £100,000 for local charities before 2020.

Robson Laidler Accountants are hosting the ball, which will be on Friday 27 April at The Biscuit Factory Newcastle. The event will aim to raise money for The Tiny Lives Trust, which funds the care of premature and sick new born babies and their families at the Special Care Baby Unit in Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary.

Cramlington-based chocolate manufacturer Sweet Dreams are sponsoring the event with its brand of Choc Nibbles chocolates, which will be shared during the night to help enhance the indulgent theme. Other supporters of the event include Lord Jeremy Beecham who has donated a tour of, and tea in, the House of Lords as a raffle prize, as well as

Newcastle trampoline park Jump 360 and Beamish.

Guests will be treat to an evening of live entertainment from local band Groove Central Station and musician Thomas Taylor a disco, a prosecco reception, three-course dinner with hot chocolate, games and lots of chocolaty treats.

Louise Carroll fundraiser at Tiny Lives said: “Tiny Lives helps more than 700 premature and ill newborn babies and their families at the RVI in Newcastle each year. With the help and support of people like the staff at Robson Laidler Accountants fundraising for Tiny Lives we can continue to provide a range of valuable support to families at a time of crisis in their lives.
