A leading regional firm of chartered accountants & business advisers held a Jumper Day during December to raise money for The Great North Air Ambulance.

Clive Owen LLP with offices in Darlington, Durham and York asked all members of staff to wear a festive jumper in order to support this worthwhile cause on Friday 16thDecember.  Since then staff have been asked to make a donation.  Now with the holidays over, the firm are delighted to present the charity with a cheque for £200.

The firm are very active in holding events during the year to support local causes and it was felt that The Great North Air Ambulance was a charity that spanned across the region and this would be an ideal opportunity to involve all three of the firm’s offices.

Chris Beaumont, partner with Clive Owen LLP said, “It was a pleasure to support the Great North Air Ambulance.  The work they do directly helps to save lives and we felt as a regional firm that we could help.”

Ben McWilliams, public liaison assistant with GNAAS added: “We are extremely grateful to Clive Owen for the funds donated to us. Without the support of local businesses, we would not be able to continue our life-saving work across the region. The funds raised will enable us to stay in the air and for that, we are indebted to them.”
