Airfotos, owned by private aviation firm Naljets, is brewing up to host a coffee morning and business networking event to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer at its headquarters at Apex Business Village, near Cramlington.

The event is part of the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, where the charity is encouraging people to hold their own coffee morning, whether at home, in the workplace or somewhere else in the community, on Friday, September 25.

Airfotos is planning a business networking event to give nearly 50 businesses at Apex Business Village as chance to meet each other and raise cash for a great cause.

Organiser Beth Winter, from Airfotos, said: “There are a lot of new businesses that have never met each other and we’d like to invite everyone along for tea, coffee and cakes and give them a chance to introduce themselves.

“We thought the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning was the ideal opportunity because we can bring people together under one roof to chat, eat cake and raise money for charity.

“”We’ve sent out posters for businesses to display in their reception area and we hope they will pop along to help us raise around £250 for a really worthwhile cause as cancer is something that touches everyone.”

With experience spanning three decades and using high quality, professional digital camera equipment, AirFotos can supply vertical photography for mapping projects, surveys, flood risk assessment and coastal erosion studies.

The company operates its own Cessna 172sp aircraft, fully customised for this type of photography, and has access to six pilots, so that they can fly at short notice when the weather conditions are right for photography.
