All Star Five – Week 6

British_Basketball_League_(emblem)There are no fewer than four players who make their All Star Five debuts in this week’s starting line-up.

Ashton Khan (Worcester Wolves)
It’s a first-time berth in our fabulous five for Khan who was the main architect of Wolves easing their way to a success against Leeds Force. The guard recorded an efficient and impressive display as he scored 16 points and also handed out an excellent eight assists, to help Wolves continue their surge as one of the early frontrunners in the title race.

Greg Streete (Bristol Flyers)
The Bristol born guard was the driving force behind his team’s exciting success at home to Manchester Giants. The fans favourite inked 18 points from six of nine floor shooting and also weighed in with a priceless eight rebounds and five assists, to give Flyers a big lift after a slow start to the campaign.

TrayVonn Wright (Leicester Riders)
The highlights reel was well and truly lit up by Wright in the game against Sheffield Sharks as the forward threw down spectacular dunks and one of the best of the season so far. He also shone brightly either side of the three-point line with 22 points – sinking five of six attempts inside and four attempts from downtown. He amassed six boards, three swats and two assists in a great night of work.

DJ Felder (Surrey Scorchers)
The forward was instrumental in ensuring Scorchers finished the weekend occupying a top four position after helping to deny Raiders a first win. In a pulsating encounter at Surrey Sports Park, Felder was a difference-maker with 20 points after converting a wonderful nine of eleven at the hoop. He also completed a double-double with 10 boards, as well as coming up with two blocked shots.

Antone Robinson (Sheffield Sharks)
The Sharks big man racked up his first appearance in style after delivering the best display of the entire weekend with a performance valuation of 34 against Glasgow Rocks.
