NOF Energy, the UK business development organisation for the oil, gas, power and offshore renewables sectors, has announced energy industry professional Andrew Mills as its new Chairman.

Andrew, who is Managing Director of Servelec Controls, succeeds Paul Charlton, who continues as a board member of the Durham City-based organisation.

Experienced in the oil & gas and nuclear industries, Andrew is a technology specialist leading a growing UK business in the delivery of system integration within the energy and infrastructure markets.

Specifically supporting clients in the oil, gas, power including nuclear and infrastructure sectors, Servelec Controls is the UK’s leading independent system integrator, developing turnkey solutions throughout the full project life-cycle. 

Among its services Servelec, which has UK offices in Sheffield, Warrington, Aberdeen and Glasgow, provides consultancy, engineering, implementation, on-going customer support and maintenance. 

Prior to joining Servelec Controls, Andrew was Head of Business at Assytem, one of the world’s largest nuclear industry companies, responsible for nuclear new build, oil and gas and defence business in the UK.

As Chairman of NOF Energy, Andrew will lead the board helping to develop strategy and provide vital industry insight to the organisation’s operational team. 

With more than 430 members in the energy sector supply chain and an extensive global network of strategic partners, NOF Energy is the UK’s most proactive business development organisation in the international energy sectors. 

It provides invaluable industry intelligence, contacts and introductions and a calendar of informative information and networking events headlined by some of the largest, high profile companies in the international energy industry.
