Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

logo-landscapeLEARNERS with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s adult education service are boosting their learning experience with a special trip to see the works of one of the world’s most renowned artists.

On Friday 4 March, students from one of the Council’s popular art courses will be visiting Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle city centre.

The gallery is renowned for its collection of paintings, watercolours and decorative historical objects as well as contemporary and diverse works by emerging UK artists.

Around 30 learners will see the works and take part in a specially organised guided tour to view the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition, Ten Drawings from the Royal Collection. The visit has been organised as an extension to their course to help further boost their learning, skills and creative development.
