With the demand in homes continuing across North and East Yorkshire, Barratt Development’s Yorkshire East division, which includes both the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has announced that over the past 12 months it has invested approximately £60million through working with over 250 local sub-contractors – resulting in around 1,000 jobs being created for the region.
The investment is boosted by a further 200 labour only sub-contractors – mainly bricklayers and joiners – which has resulted in an investment of over £7million into the local area. An additional economic output of £45million will also be invested by the five star housebuilder throughout the region this year based on current growth plans.
