Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Screen Shot 2015-11-12 at 15.36.27A powerful new play exploring the concept of bravery is set to enthral audiences at Bishop Auckland Town Hall this month.

Be Brave and Leave for the Unknown, at the town hall on Monday, 23 November, asks what is required of us when our courage is tested and just taking the next step feels like the hardest thing to do.

It is based on the very personal story of the sudden and unexpected course a couple’s lives take when tragedy strikes.

Combining powerful physical theatre, dynamic new writing and a stunning soundscape, it includes original compositions by Jonny Pilcher, who has written for Athlete, White Lies, Super Furry Animals and Lana Del Ray.

Be Brave and Leave for the Unknown is produced by the award-winning RedCape Theatre, who were awarded a Scotsman Fringe First award for their debut production.

The company creates shows inspired by the true stories of ordinary people in extraordinary situations.

Tickets for the performance, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced at £10 or £8 for concessions.

To book, visit the box office at Bishop Auckland Town Hall or call 03000 269 524.
