REDCAR & Cleveland Borough Council encourage you to say “I do!” in the Beacon for your perfect wedding, whilst enjoying the picturesque scenery on your special day.

The Beacon, located on Redcar’s seafront, is a unique setting for any wedding to take place: the coastal views giving a British version of the iconic beach wedding! The seafront location allows for a more intimate offer, thus creating a truly unforgettable and atmospheric day.

Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council Corporate Director for Resources, John Sampson, said: “I think that it’s a wonderful opportunity to have your special day directly overlooking the coastline. I’d definitely recommend it for those wanting a quiet and more intimate wedding ceremony.”

The new wedding facility room is located in the sky lounge on the 6th floor of the Beacon facing out on to the sea front. Decorated with a contemporary feel, it can accommodate up to 12 guests, in addition to your photographer and of course the happy bride and groom themselves! The Beacon will be exclusive to you for part of the day so that your wedding ceremony is both private and personal.

For any enquiries please call 01642 444100 or email buscen@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk, or to check the venue out yourself visit Redcar Beacon, Esplanade, Redcar, TS10 3AA.
