Northumberland College is hosting an enrolment event this Saturday (15th September 2018) at The Graduate Salon, the College’s own hairdressing and beauty salon on Marygate, Berwick upon Tweed, for all courses available at its Berwick campus.
Students looking to enrol on all academic, vocational and apprenticeship programmes starting this month including STEM-based subjects, arts, digital and creative courses, sports-related programmes, catering, land and environment and beauty therapy, for example, can enrol from10am-1pm at the salon.
Staff will be on hand to discuss all course queries that new students may have as well as advise on the best career routes to take into employment or higher education.
Representatives from Northumberland’s Kirkley Hall campus near Ponteland will also be in attendance with a selection of small animals to promote its popular veterinary care and animal management programmes.
Tracy Girdwood, Head of Berwick at Northumberland College, commented “No appointment is necessary so those considering enrolling at Northumberland College this term are asked to come along to the Graduate Salon on Saturday. This is not just in relation to beauty therapy courses but rather to enrol on all full and part-time programmes regardless of subject area.
“Deciding upon which course to take can often be a big step and our staff will be able to answer all queries and make enrolment a straight forward process. As well as course advice, our team can also provide health, wellbeing and welfare support not only to new students but to their families too to ensure that everyone has the help they need.”
