Cllr Bob Gardiner, ward member for Kirkbymoorside, has become the new Chairman of Ryedale District Council.
Cllr Gardiner took over the chains of office from past Chairman Cllr Val Arnold at Ryedale District Council’s Annual Council meeting held on 17 May 2016.
The Chairman’s Consort for his year in office will be his wife, Helen. Cllr William Oxley, ward member for Pickering East, became the new Vice Chairman at the meeting. Cllr Oxley’s Consort will be his wife, Pat.
