Following the resignation of Phil Evans as District Councillor for the Derwent Ward of Ryedale District Council, a by-election has been called for Thursday 17th December 2015.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 4pm on Friday 20th November 2015. As the Derwent Ward is a two seat ward, Councillor Michael Cleary continues to represent its residents whilst the other seat is vacant.
