CARE home staff across the North East are being pampered on national Employee Motivation Day.
The Hill Care Group, which operates homes in Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool, is treating staff to recognise their hard work and dedication.
The Gables, Ingleby, Mandale House, The Beeches and Queens Meadow care homes are offering massages, motivational work-outs, therapies and the chance to dress down for the day.
The homes will also issue awards to members of staff identified by residents, relatives and colleagues for their efforts throughout the year.
Liz Jones, Customer Relations Officer for Hill Care, said: “National Employee Motivation Day is our chance to recognise the amazing work of our staff.
“We have the most dedicated, hard working and caring staff and as a way of thanking them we wanted to treat them for the day.”
National Employee Motivation Day takes place on Thursday, 25th February.
The event was launched by Argos for Business in 2015 to inspire passion and appreciation across the UK’s workforce. Since then, companies all over the country have already taken part.
Businesses and employees will be sharing their activities on social media, using the hashtags: #NatMotivateDay, #EmployeeMotivationDay, #emd, and #MakeTheTeam.
