CIM has today announced details of their first keynote speaker for the Northern Conference, to be held in Durham on Tuesday 15 May.
The CIM Northern Conference is now in its eighth year and offers exceptional learning and networking opportunities. This years’ theme is ‘Marketing horizons’, and will be looking at current marketing best practice and what is around the corner. There will be two keynotes, a choice of nine workshops and it will once again be hosted by Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “We are delighted to have Scott Allen, CMO of Microsoft UK and CIM member, to open our conference to talk about Digital Transformation.”
Scott said, “I come to work every day with the mindset of how digital transformation can help individuals and organisations to achieve more and have the pleasure of working with a large number of companies, schools, higher education and public-sector organisations. Digital Transformation is all about the here and now and I get to look at it from how we do that internally within Microsoft and how we help our customers and partners on that journey. As part of my digital transformation mindset I have been working hard in the last 2 years driving Microsoft UK’s Modern Marketing Transformation.” He continued, “My keynote will focus on what I mean by Modern Marketing and aims to tell a story covering: Setting the scene around digital transformation, Modern marketing – what is it all about?, Insights: “the new muscle of modern marketing”, Getting the attention of your audience in a digital world is harder than ever, Don’t forget your team in your modernisation journey and 5 key things to take away.
