Christmas Fun At Norton Grange

christmasPEOPLE who live near to or use Norton Grange Community Centre are invited to come along to a special Christmas event to help plan the future of the centre and what services and activities should be based there.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Onsite and Norton Grange Residents Association are inviting people to the fun Christmas event onTuesday 8 December to gather views about the future use of the centre.

From 5pm to 7pm there will be activities for all the family including Christmas arts and crafts, wreath-making, bingo, a free raffle with prizes including a bouncy castle party, selection boxes, a Christmas hamper and turkey.  There will be also be free refreshments including hot drinks and mince pies and Father Christmas will be giving out presents to children.

Councillor Steve Nelson, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Access, Communities and Community Safety, said: “We want to gather views about the future use of the centre, so I would encourage anyone who uses the centre or lives locally to come along to our free Christmas event.  Not only will you be able to have fun and win prizes but at the same time you can have your say on what you would like to see at Norton Grange.”

Those attending the event will be able to fill in a questionnaire to feedback on what services and activities they would like to see at the centre.  For those who cannot attend in person suggestions can also be emailed to admin@onsitebuildingtrust.org or dropped off at the centre’s post box.
