A LEADING County Durham hotel has Christmas all wrapped up for anyone looking for a daytime festive party.

Ramside Hall Hotel is offering a selection of afternoon Christmas parties during December, with two different live bands as well as three afternoon discos aimed at people who would like to celebrate the festive season with friends over lunch.

The first one is Jersey Boys Oh What a Night which will be held on Wednesday December 7.

Guests can enjoy the music of the All New Jersey Boys who will head to Ramside Hall fresh from a European tour performing the ultimate tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

The show will feature all of the band’s biggest hits including Sherry, Oh What a Night, Big Girls Don’t Cry and more.

A week later the sounds of Rock n Roll Jukebox will have festive gatherers up on their feet dancing to some of the greatest tunes from one of the best-loved eras.

The event, on December 15, will feature classic hits from the 50s and 60s including hits like Runaround Sue, Pretty Woman, Saturday Night at the Movies and many more.

There will also be three afternoon disco parties designed to get everyone up on the dancefloor, onDecember 21, 22 and 23.

Guests will be able to dance themselves dizzy with a host of classic disco hits from across several decades.

Tim Boyd, General Manager at the Ramside Hall Hotel explained that these events were designed for those who can’t make evening parties.  “The Christmas party nights here at the Ramside Hall Hotel have always been very popular, but we are aware that some people just can’t manage evenings,” he said.

“We don’t believe anyone should miss out on a good Christmas party with their friends or work colleagues, so this is why we have created these five afternoon events.

“However, they are already proving very popular so I would urge anyone wanting to book one to do so very soon to avoid disappointment.”

All of the afternoon parties begin at noon, with a two-course lunch served at 12.30pm. Jersey Boys Oh What a Night and the Rock n Roll Jukebox events cost £21.95 per person and the afternoondiscos are £19.95 per person.

Ramside Hall also has a busy programme of party nights lined-up throughout December with live bands, tribute shows and great food. The Christmas party nights begin on Friday November 25 and run up until Friday December 23 with prices starting at £23.95 per person.

There are also four different New Year’s Eve events to choose from, including a grand Gala Ball.
