Continued Success for Darlington’s Northern Echo Arena

Darlington StadiumA North East Arena is celebrating another year of success, which it puts down to the expansion of its events offering.

The Northern Echo Arena in Darlington has seen over 15,000 guests pass through its doors for events alone, since Mowden Park RFC moved to the ground in 2013.

Under the management of Mowden Park, the Arena has had a face-lift making the site a go-to for business events in the region.

Recent success includes the New Zealand All Blacks Open Day, which saw over 4,000 people visit the arena, the Darlington Expo, which attracted over 500 attendees, as well as BNI meetings, which attract over 70 guests every week.

To bolster its events offering, Mowden Park has produced an Arena Brochure, which details the services available for both corporate and personal use.

Lee Rust, managing director of Darlington Mowden Park RFC, claims that the key to this success has been the dedication of the on-site team.

Lee said: “Our on-site team are all experts in events management. They are also incredibly passionate about giving customers the best experience possible, and are always on hand to ensure that visitors have a stress-free and successful event.”

The next major event to be held at the Northern Echo Arena will be the Summer Ball, taking place on Saturday 2nd July. Tickets are now available and can be purchased by contacting the club.
