Contractors Wanted: Minor Works and Responsive Repairs

209Hambleton District Council is looking to create a framework of people and organisations that can be called upon to carry out minor works and responsive repairs to all of its buildings across the district.

The local authority has a range of operational land and buildings including offices, depots, leisure centres, managed and un-managed workspaces and car parks and is seeking to appoint Contractors who can respond to various requests for work across a wide range of services, typically up to the value of £5000.

Contractors are now invited to apply to join the framework which has been split into 12 separate ‘lots’ covering: electrical, plumbing, joinery, decorating, general building works, handyperson, drainage, minor civils works, flooring, glazing, roofing and arboriculture – and can apply to be considered for work in all or parts of the district and for all or any of the lots.

The framework will be in place until 31 March 2018 with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

An information pack and the application form, is available on the website at http://www.hambleton.gov.uk/itq    or for further information contact the council on 01609 779977.
