Some of the region’s most talented and creative traders are coming together for a specialist market in Durham City Centre on Sunday April  23rd.

This Sunday, the first Craft InDurham market for 2017 will be open for business from 11am to 4pm in the Market Place, bringing together traders who have created the goods they are selling.  Shoppers can expect to find a wide range of  unique products, including artwork and photography, gift ideas, homewares, clothing, food and drink and more.

Colin Wilkes, Managing Director of Durham Markets, commented: “We launched Craft InDurham last year, and both locals and visitors loved these specialist markets.  This is the first of seven such markets planned for 2017.  Not only will visitors discover unique products on sale, but they’ll also get the opportunity to  meet the creators. Come and talk to the traders and discover the inspiration behind their creations.”

The Craft InDurham markets are organised jointly by Durham Markets Company and Durham BID.  The dates for the Craft InDurham markets in 2017 are 23rd April, 21st May, 18th June, 23rd July, 20th August, 17th September and 17th December.   For more information, visit
