RESIDENTS in Stockton-on-Tees still have time to sign up to the Big Community Switch, which last year saw average annual savings reach £168.
Those who sign up will receive a personal offer showing how much they can save. Registration closes on July 3.
Since the scheme began, over 1,000 households are collectively saving in excess of £180,000 a year.
There is no cost or obligation to register or accept the offer received.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has also teamed up with ‘iChoosr’ and ‘Make It Cheaper’ to help businesses or community groups secure a better energy deal.

Residents in need of support to help them register can contact the Stockton and District Advice and Information Service at Bath Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2DS (open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or on 01642 633877.
They should have an annual energy statement or recent gas and electricity bill to hand when registering.
