Electrical power training specialist, The Faraday Training Group has strengthened its team with the appointment of new lecturers David Jameson and Alan Jones.
David and Alan have joined the Middlesbrough-based company to provide a range of electrical power training to clients in a variety of industries including oil and gas, marine and offshore, engineering and construction, chemical, government and the public sector.
The Faraday Training Group, an international electrical training provider with purpose-built facilities in Teesside and Limassol, Cyprus, provides an extensive range of electrical power training courses including low voltage, high voltage, electrical protection, testing courses and marine and offshore courses.
Alan Jones has joined The Faraday Training Group with vast industry experience, which includes 13 years working in the underground electric sector. He also spent more than 13 years at The Technical Training Group (TTE) where he held roles such as electrical trainer and co-ordinator, in which he was in responsible for overseeing electrical apprentices.
Alan holds several industry qualifications including PAT Test Management and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, as well as a BA (Hons) Education from Teesside University.
David Jameson, a time served electrician, brings with him in-depth industry knowledge, having previously worked as a ground electrical technician in the RAF for more than 20 years and as a Compex instructor at TTE, where he held posts as an instructor, trainer and assessor.
David boasts numerous industry qualifications including HNC Electrical Engineering, A1 Assessor Award and a PGCE.

The Faraday Training Group has also launched four new courses this month as part of its expansion of electrical training services, this includes the introduction of three new EAL low voltage courses and Up Skilling, a course which aims to upskill mechanical and non-electrical technicians to the point that they are electrically competent.
