Two North East companies with bases across the UK have come together in a strategic IT partnership to support growth.
National IT specialist Technology Services Group (TSG), based in Gosforth, is sharing its expertise with consultant engineers Patrick Parsons, which is investing £120,000 in its IT support systems allowing the business to concentrate on managing its continued growth.
TSG will look after Patrick Parsons’s Newcastle head office and it’s other UK offices in London, Birmingham, Chester, Manchester, Huddersfield, Ash Vale and Glasgow over the course of a three year deal.
Peter Stienlet, managing director of Patrick Parsons, said: “This has been a great year for Patrick Parsons with some important growth for the group. The initial phase of the project will see Patrick Parsons adopt TSG’s advanced proactive support service, TSG SystemCare, analysing and replacing servers and desktops where appropriate.
Patrick Parsons will take advantage of a true hybrid solution combining cloud services and on-premise data storage, or using TSG’s data centre partner Pulsant.

Subsequent phases for Patrick Parsons will see other important applications implemented to help drive the business forward.Microsoft SharePoint will be considered as an early phase as the company looks to optimise its collaboration, workflow and document visibility across its multiple sites.
