THERE’S a treat in store for art lovers at a Middlesbrough gallery’s sizzling summer show.
Feel The Heat is the theme of the exhibition at Gallery TS1 which opens this Friday (June 5) at the venue on Corporation Road.
The gallery’s artists have responded to the theme with a broad and eclectic range of works ranging from the traditional to the purely abstract.
Local artist Alan Morley said: “It’s a wonderful display dominated by warm and hot colours in keeping with the theme and the summer we hope awaits us.
“The show is a real reflection of the talent at the gallery and there’s really something for everyone, from gifts, crafts, cards and prints to felt art, wood-turned art and super jewellery.
“For anyone who hasn’t visited TS1, I’d urge them to come by and check out this great little Middlesbrough art gallery and shop – they’re assured of a warm welcome and might just come away with that special gift for a loved one.”
