Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Find out what AI means for marketers

CIM has today announced that it will be holding an event in Gateshead for marketers to find out about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and what is means for them.

Great North East Marketer, Pete Daykin, Co-founder and Director of digital transformation agency, Daykin and Storey, will talk about AI and the potential it offers at the brand new £7.8m emerging technology centre, PROTO.  The state-of-the-art research and development facility will showcase the latest emerging technologies including virtual and augmented reality.

The CIM’s launch of 50 North East Marketing Greats in 2017, aims to develop and retain marketing talent in the North East region.  Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, explains “‘Marketing Greats’ provides a regional platform for marketing to be recognised as having a key role in business growth while celebrating the number of senior marketers located in the North East.”

Like Pete Daykin, who specialises in cross-sector marketing and digital transformation.  Pete said, “All sorts of talented people are doing any number of impossibly clever things in a spirit of openness and collaboration. These are halcyon times for arty, nerdy types in the region.”  Some of these things he is sure to discuss at the event.

The event, titled ‘The now, next and future of AI’ will be held on 12 September and is open to CIM members and non-members.
