Families can treat their football fanatic fathers to an afternoon of fine dining at the Stadium of Light.

The home of the Black Cats will be hosting Father’s Day lunch in two suites on Sunday June 21, with options available to suit every taste and budget.

For those looking for a little bit of luxury, the stadium’s Riverview Brasserie, which offers views across the River Wear, will be serving a three course meal with champagne for £25.95 per person.

Alternatively the famous Montgomery Suite is also offering three courses, with a choice of roast beef, chicken, pork or fish for main course, for £18.95 per person.

Both options are available from noon until 2.30pm, with a free gift for every dad to take away.

Matt Smith, Assistant Commercial Director at Sunderland AFC, said: “Football stadiums are often famed for offering visitors a pie and a pint, but this is a great opportunity for families to treat their football loving fathers to something a little more formal and make them feel extra special on Father’s Day at the Stadium of Light.”
