Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Four Childhood Activities you Forgot were Fun

Many of us wish we could turn back time to the good old days when we were young and carefree. So we’ve come up with a list of four things that will take you right back to childhood; forget the stresses of modern life and make some new memories with your family and friends at the same time!

Climbing

Unleash your inner mountain climber and scale a climbing wall to prove you’re not a chicken! Climbing is great fun and you can challenge yourself to be as adventurous as you want to be. Test out your problem solving skills by planning your route and challenge a friend to reach the top of the wall. Climbing is a great idea for a weekend activity with a difference and you never know, you might unleash skills you never knew you had. Check out Clip ‘N Climb (situated in Stockton) where climbing walls meet theme park in an exciting new leisure concept!

Bouncing

Remember how much fun it was bouncing on your bed or launching into the air on the trampoline in the back garden? Don’t let the kids have all the fun! Trampolining will help you to bounce away the stresses of the day and you will be having so much fun that you won’t even realise how many calories you’re burning. Jump 360 (Stockton, Hartlepool and coming-soon to Newcastle) has over 100 trampolines; bounce as high as you can and leap into a pile of foam blocks, see if you can still do that summersault or challenge your kids to a game of trampoline dodge-ball…

Circus Skills

Balance beams, tumbling and areal hanging – the circus was always so glamourous! Just because you are grown-up now doesn’t mean that you can’t live your dreams of performing in the big top – there are plenty of circus skills courses available as well as indoor parks where you can try your hand at tight rope walking, rope climbing and more.

Slides

Have you ever envied the kids enjoying the slides in the park but worried you might get stuck half way down? Don’t worry! Grown-up playgrounds are real and they are here to stay. No-one can be worried about work while they are whizzing through the twists and turns of a spiral slide and you can’t help but get the giggles when you land in a huge pile of foam.

You can enjoy all of these activities and more at Jump 360, the North East’s premier trampoline park, which now has sites in Stockton and Hartlepool with a brand new park is set to open in Newcastle in 2017.
