The ‘Paediatric First Aid’ course, run by Dale & Valley Homes, will take place on Monday, 9 May from 9.30am to 3pm at Willington Health Centre, Crook.

Dale & Valley Homes’ Community Training Project Coordinator, Kimberley Batey, said: “Most people never give a second thought to learning first aid until they’re faced with a crisis.

“This free one-day course will provide attendees with the skills to know how to save a baby or child’s life in an emergency.

“Tenants and residents of County Durham can benefit from our programme of courses, which provide information and skills that can keep them healthy, happy and involved in the local community.

“Anyone wanting to book a place on a course or find out more about the variety of training we offer should emailk.batey@daleandvalleyhomes.co.uk or call 07469 402 619.”
