MUSIC lovers are in for a treat next week with a free concert in central Middlesbrough.

All are invited to join Streetwise Opera’s Middlesbrough performers in the Central Library for a fun and inspiring opera concert including excerpts from Don Giovanni.

Streetwise Opera is an award-winning charity that uses music to help people make positive changes in their lives.

Working with people who have experienced homelessness and other members of the community, the charity runs workshop programmes across England, stages critically-acclaimed operas and manages With One Voice, an international arts/homelessness movement.

Streetwise Opera’s Lunchtime Concert in the Central Library – part of the 2016 Discover Middlesbrough festival – takes place from 1pm to 1.30pm on Friday, October 21.

Places are free but must be booked on 01642 729002.
