Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Fundraising Night puts a Spring in Local Charity’s Step

GUESTS enjoyed an evening of laughs and entertainment at Springwell Community Village Hall and raised £1222 for Calvert Trust Kielder.

Organised by Rosedale Leasing, the event saw staff, friends and family packed into the hall to watch the host for the evening, Joshua Riffe from Funancial Services, introduce several acts and a variety of performances including a burlesque show by Kitten Collective, comedy sketches from Cirque de Extravaganza, as well as a disco and dancing at the end of the evening.

There was also a raffle with prizes including a meal at Alnwick Tree House.

The evening was the latest fundraising event which staff at Rosedale Leasing have undertaken in a bid to raise funds for Calvert Trust Kielder. So far Rosedale has raised just under £4,500 leaving them well placed to smash their £5000 target. The next event is the Great North Run with eight members of the Rosedale team running for #TeamCalvert.

Speaking about the night, Charlotte Crumbley fundraiser at Calvert Trust Kielder, said: “We are extremely grateful to Rosedale Leasing for organising the evening and to everyone who came out to support us.

“We’re always amazed at people’s generosity and the funds raised will help lots of adults and children experience outdoor adventures, have a great time and make lasting memories.”

Calvert Trust Kielder’s next fundraising event is the annual Calvert Ball on Friday October 13th.

Located in Kielder Water & Forest Park, Calvert Trust Kielder is a registered charity which enables guests of all abilities to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure.
