THE Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Cllr Barry Hunt, is preparing to host his Charity Ball at Gisborough Hall.

Taking place on Thursday 27 April, the ball is an opportunity to support and donate money to the Mayor’s charities: Coatham House, a Redcar charity that supports young homeless people and Earthbeat, a Saltburn theatre company supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Attendees will be guaranteed an evening of entertainment as 16-year-old soprano Charlotte Potter starts off the evening at 7pm with a selection of songs in the hall’s conservatory before the Samantha Holden Band perform their set later in the evening.

There will also be a charity auction, tombola and raffle with all proceeds going to the two charities.

Cllr Hunt said: “The Charity Ball is always a highlight of the year, it’s a great opportunity for everyone to get together and raise money for two great causes.

“We have some fantastic entertainment planned, so I would encourage as many people as possible to join us. It is going to be a great evening.”

Tickets for the Ball are priced at £40. If you wish to buy a ticket, or donate a prize for the raffle, please contact Jane Holmes on 01642 444501 or email: jane.holmes@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk
