Renowned for luxury, good service and comfort, an impressive and prominent feature on the North East coastline is the Grand Hotel at Tynemouth and now to add to its good looks, it has won the impressive accolade of being the best wedding venue in the North of England at the North of England Wedding Awards.
Staff were celebrating after the venue on Grand Parade scooped the prestigious award despite being in a tough category, up against some of the very best hotels and wedding venues in the region.
The awards were announced at a glitzy ceremony at York Racecourse.
It was the Icing on the (wedding) cake for the Grand Hotel after the wedding team had produced a new brochure, a new wedding website and successful social media campaigns.
Events Manager Helen Bush was delighted that all the hard work had paid off.
“The Wedding Team at the Grand Hotel have worked extremely hard over many years to create bespoke and effortless experiences for all who get married and we are all overwhelmed with joy at winning the award.
