M.A.D Communications, an innovative PR and Communications Agency, has moved to Gateshead’s newly refurbished Design Works office space – signalling a period of growth and change for the young business, as it enters its fourth year.
Founded by Marie Donnelly and Amy Armstrong, the agency has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2013 – a considerable achievement given that many start up businesses fail to reach the four year mark.
Conveniently located next to the Felling bypass, Design Works, Gateshead is a modern business centre offering fully-managed and serviced office and workshop spaces for SMEs and start up companies.
Marie Donnelly, 28, Director, M.A.D Communications, said: “We are delighted to move to Design Works and we’re really looking forward to becoming part of the vibrant Gateshead business community.
“The past four years have been a fantastic, eye-opening, and encouraging experience, as we have continued to grow the business, expand our reach, and build a strong client base on a national and international basis. We’ve now reached the point where we need more space if we want to grow our business further, making it the right time to move.”
Having started their journey in an incubator space at Sunderland University’s Enterprise Place, M.A.D Communications has quickly evolved into a thriving business working alongside a wide variety of clients.
Amy Armstrong, 30, Director M.A.D Communications, said: “We’ve grown so much over the past four years and this office move feels like the natural next step in our journey.
