Hadrian HR's Deb Tweedy and Gill Group Director Sonny GillNORTH EAST human resources consultancy Hadrian HR has twice as much to celebrate after more than doubling its client base in time for its second year in business.

In the past year the firm has taken its client total to 25 and welcomed an average of two new clients each month after experiencing an increase in demand for its bespoke services.

Established by Gordon Brown Law Firm in 2013, Hadrian HR anticipates further growth in the New Year with plans to add an accountancy branch to its out of hours helpline support service already underway for the North East’s SMEs.

Deb Tweedy, HR Director at the consultancy, said: “The pace has picked up considerably over the past year and we are thrilled to have experienced such growth.”

“We are now seen as an HR Business Partner, not simply HR advisors, and our expansion has placed greater focus on strategic alignment with our clients’ business plans specifically reviewing recruitment and selection strategies, budget and forecasting, identifying suitable reward packages, training and development opportunities and the implementation of concise, streamlined policies and procedures.

“Our team understands that one size definitely doesn’t fit all, reinforced by our added value approach offer of pro-bono work in the early stages of the client relationship; demonstrated by an initial free thirty minute consultation at the outset.”

Hadrian HR offers tailored consultations covering a very broad spectrum of sectors, including the care sector, retail sector, hospitality industry and professional services.

Offering a 360 degree approach to clients, its services include assisting in the production of all documentation, handbooks, supporting clients through the recruitment and selection process, performance management, handling discipline and grievance matters and identifying training and development needs.

Deb continues: “Home-grown talent is a key factor in Hadrian’s recruitment strategy and we have set out plans for 2015 to build up our existing internal talent to upskill staff and offer them further opportunities for progression.”

Hadrian HR client, Sonny Gill, Gill Group Director, said: “Deb does not just deliver ‘off the shelf’ employment law advice. She really understands the need for efficiency, well-trained commercially aware employees and the need for cost effectiveness.

“As Hadrian’s first ever client I am delighted to be continuing to work with them in their second year of business and have the team currently reviewing our long term strategy by aligning all of our policies and procedures to the business plan.”

To mark the firm’s second year, Hadrian HR has selected North East based FACT as its dedicated charity for 2015, with Deb taking up the cancer charity’s ‘£2k Challenge’ in a bid to help build the UK’s first ever cancer support awareness and education centre in Dunston, Gateshead.
