A community partnership which provides emergency food parcels for people who would otherwise have to go hungry is holding its annual Ceilidh later this month to raise much needed funds.

Hambleton FoodShare is a registered charity run almost entirely by local volunteers and relies heavily on fund raising to help them provide three-day emergency food parcel to people in temporary financial crisis who cannot afford to feed themselves or their families due to no fault of their own.

The event takes place on Friday 23 September at Northallerton Town Hall from 7.00pm.

Tickets are limited and cost £10 including light supper and are available from Community House, 10 South Parade, Northallerton during office hours or by ringing Margaret Brice, Project co-ordinator for on: 07514244158, e-mail: info@hambletonfoodshare.org.uk
