H&H Land and Property have announced the arrival of Assistant Surveyor Hannah Maynard at their Durham office. Hannah will complete her placement year as part of her degree with Harper Adams University.
Currently studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management and having undertaken previous work experience with Robin Jessop in Richmond, Hannah is looking to expand her portfolio of knowledge by working with H&H. Originally from Carlton in Cleveland, at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales, in her spare time Hannah enjoys walking and was previously Chairman of the Harper Yorkshire Society.
For any student, a placement year is effectively their stepping onto their first rung of the career ladder and for Hannah it is one that she is looking forward to immensely. Speaking of her placement, Hannah said;
“I am really excited at the prospect of gaining this invaluable experience with H&H Land and Property. They are a diverse company and I am looking forward to having the opportunity of working across of breadth of specialist areas within the rural and land management sector. This placement is without a doubt a great start to my career.”
During her placement year Hannah will be working with the land agency team, assisting with valuations, GIS mapping, utility schemes, compensation claims, property sales and marketing, dispute resolution, and conservation and the environment. This diverse range of opportunities will offer Hannah a wealth of experience in the industry, putting her on the path to success.
