Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

CaptureEmployees of County Durham Housing Group raised £11,484.32 in the 12 months since the organisation was formed.

A variety of different fundraising events have seen employees running, walking, swimming, cycling, organising raffles and quizzes, and wearing Christmas jumpers.

Bill Fullen, Group Chief Executive at County Durham Housing Group, said: “Part of our vision as an organisation is to transform the lives of others through the work we do.

“We’re incredibly proud of our colleagues from across the group for showing that they are willing to help transform people’s lives through fundraising too.

“The astounding generosity of our employees has benefited national charities such as Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support and Teenage Cancer Trust, as well as local causes including Durham Carers and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.”

County Durham Housing Group was established in April 2015 and celebrates its first anniversary this week.

The group was formed following the transfer of homes from Durham County Council to Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.
