Housing Websites Tailored to Tenants’ Taste

County Durham Housing Group, in partnership with Recite, has launched an accessibility solution  to ensure visitors can customise their online experience.

From language translation, to tailoring font colour, size, and male or female audio reader options, the application really does ensure users can find browsing more suited to their individual needs.

Nigel Day, Equality and Diversity Manager at County Durham Housing Group, said: “As a group we recognise that in many walks of life people do not experience fair access to services.

“Our three landlords, Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes, have all signed up to Recite’s program, which highlights our commitment to treating people according to their specific needs.”
