Ignition Fund Launched to Help Youth Music Projects

Screen Shot 2015-06-08 at 09.26.36TEESSIDE music organisation musinc has unveiled a new scheme to assist youth groups and schools in launching small-scale musical projects.

The Ignition Fund can provide up to £750 per project and is open to groups and schools in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Redcar and Cleveland for projects that involve young people in music making activities. musinc focuses on those most in need and welcomes proposals that will involve young people age 10+ who are living in challenging circumstances.

Musical Inclusion Development Officer Gwyneth Lamb said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for groups, schools and individuals to come forward with ideas for music projects and make them happen.”
