International firm The Christmas Decorators has opened its latest offices in Newcastle due to a growing demand for its services in the North East.
Headed up by North East director Laura Perry, the new office covers one of the largest geographical areas of all of its offices in the UK providing Christmas decorations to both commercial and residential properties between the borders of Scotland and North Yorkshire.
Founded in 2005 by Nick and Sarah Bolton, The Christmas Decorators has 18 offices across the UK and abroad and has a vast array of clients all year including Premiership football clubs, The X Factor, major shopping outlets, hotels and town centres.
Nick Bolton, CEO of The Christmas Decorators, said: “It is wonderful to be able to provide this service in the North East through Laura who not only is incredibly talented at what she does, but also has a huge level of local knowledge and passion for the area. We are delighted with how well the business is doing already in such a short space of time.”
The 27-year-old is the youngest director in the company and December will be Laura’s second festive season working for the group having gained extensive training and experience dressing a number of restaurants, bars and shopping centres.
Laura said: “Following extensive training within the company over the last 12 months, I am keen to raise awareness that this form of service is now available to businesses and homes within the region. The Company has been receiving more and more enquiries from businesses in the North East so it’s fantastic that we’re able to build on this and establish the business in order to cater for the demand.
“We are the only specialist decorator in the area to offer Christmas lighting and decorations for both residential properties and commercial organisations, creating both interior and exterior designs which are bespoke to each person’s budget or theme.”
With enquiries doubling every month in the lead up to Christmas, the festive business already has plans to employ a team of installers and to grow the North East division further over the next few years.
Laura continued: “Our focus is all on the client and exceeding their expectations. If demand continues, we’ll be looking to employ people full-time within five years through training those with an interest.
“Not only do we assess, design for and dress locations, we also design and make many of the decorations in-house; whether it’s a gigantic Christmas bauble or a lighting display with musical animation, we can supply for large spaces or much more intimate settings.
“We look at the building, its background, speak with the client and come up with creative suggestions based on what they want. Whatever they imagine, we can deliver.”
The Christmas Decorators has a wide array of clients across the UK and abroad from celebrity’s homes to international airports and such locations as The Shard in London and the Christmas tree in Bethlehem town square, Palestine.
