County Durham jobseekers can take advantage of a free workshop offering expert advice about performing better in interviews.
The session, organised by County Durham Housing Group, will be held on Thursday, 30 June from 10am to 12.30pm at Bowburn Community Centre.
County Durham Housing Group’s Employment and Skills Officer, Claire Maddison, said: “Interviews can be a daunting prospect for people who don’t have much experience of applying for jobs.
“Attendees on our free informal course will find out what to expect when they go for an interview and how to remain calm and confident under pressure.

County Durham Housing Group’s Employment and Skills Team provides support to tenants of Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes to find a job, access training, gain apprenticeships and venture into self-employment.
