A LEADING North East property company has transformed a key part of Stockton town centre’s streetscape, following the completion of a £2m residential scheme designed to regenerate the local area.
Jomast Developments has worked closely with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council to deliver the project, which comprises 25 three bedroom dwellings at Tarring Street and Worthing Street, within the Parkfield ward adjacent to the town centre.
The scheme encompasses the refurbishment of a terrace of former Victorian houses, adjoining new build houses in a similar, period style. The majority of the dwellings have been completed and are available for private letting.
The project is having a significant impact in transforming the existing area, benefiting it both architecturally and economically through much-improved housing and a rejuvenated streetscape for residents in the heart of the Borough. The quality of the construction work has received praise from local residents.
