Karol Marketing Expands Award-winning Team after Significant Growth

Screen Shot 2015-08-17 at 13.02.19Newcastle-based PR and marketing consultancy, Karol Marketing Group, has strengthened its team with the appointment of five key members of staff after a period of significant growth.

Managing Director Stefan Lepkowski is predicting further expansion of the company following a strong first half of the year, during which Karol has added six new contracts to its impressive client base.

Amanda Little joins Karol as Account Manager overseeing the specialist business division of the agency following 26 years as an award-winning journalist on the News & Star and The Cumberland News in Carlisle. Amanda has extensive experience as a news reporter, sports writer and feature writer, working across print and multi-media platforms. A 10-times North West Sports Writer of the Year, she has also handled PR for a portfolio of prestigious companies.

Chrissie Beatty joins the award-winning agency’s specialist outdoor PR division as Account Director, bringing 10 years of experience in marketing management to the consultancy. Chrissie has considerable experience working with premium brands in the outdoor, equestrian and catering industries. Most recently, she was responsible for launching and expanding an equestrian brand into the US market, working with key industry figures to drive forward safety in the sport and managed relations with a range of sports retailers and press contacts across Europe and UK.

Jenny Dawson joins the company as Senior Account Executive, working across both the business and outdoor divisions. Jenny, an Aberdeen University graduate, brings two years’ experience in public awareness, media liaison and campaign development. Specialising in B2B public relations, copy writing and editing, she previously worked for a PR agency in Surrey.

Rebecca Robertson has joined the company as account executive after graduating with a 2:1 in public relations from the University of Sunderland. She has gained experience in communications and events at Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland, implementing social media and marketing strategies.

Brenda Allison has returned to Karol as finance director with responsibility for all financial aspects of the business. Brenda first joined the company in 1996 as management accountant and played a key role in growing the business from the beginning, before leaving to pursue other opportunities in 2005.

Karol Marketing’s impressive client base includes a diverse range of businesses operating across aviation, security, engineering and chemical industries, as well as specialist consumer lifestyle brands in the UK and Europe.
