A POPULAR North East restaurant is playing Santa by giving mums and dads a pre-Christmas treat next month.
Throughout November, children can enjoy a meal and ice cream at Scalini’s, Great North Road, Gosforth, Newcastle, for just £1, if a main meal is purchased.
So not only can parents save money in the run up to Christmas but youngsters can enjoy a choice of pizzas or pastas or classics such as fish, chicken goujons or sausage and chips, followed by ice cream, for less.
Atul Malhotra, Director of Operations for Newcastle-based Malhotra Group plc, which owns the venue, said: “Eating out as a family is one of life’s pleasures and, with Christmas round the corner, we thought we’d make it even more of a treat, for parents and youngsters alike.”
The November offer is available from Monday to Friday between 3pm and 5pm.
