Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Landlord says it could pay to seek free money advice

Dale & Valley Homes LOGO CMYKA local landlord partnership will offer Bishop Auckland residents financial support from the heart of their estate.

Dale & Valley Homes is working together with NEFirst Credit Union to hold a drop-in service on Tuesday, 26 July at Mickle Grove Community Hub on Stanley Way.

The free service, between 10am and 11am, will give existing NEFirst account holders the opportunity to make payments; and for other customers the opportunity to find out about the range of financial support services available.

Amy Glendinning, Community Development Co-ordinator at Dale & Valley Homes is encouraging people with money worries to come along.

She said: “As the landlord of more than 4,000 tenants, we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence if they are worried about their finances.

“NEFirst Credit Union has been providing savings and loan accounts for their members for more than 20 years; as well as signposting people to a range of support services that they may not have been aware of.

“So call in, talk to an advisor, and you never know the difference it could make to your circumstances.”
