Dale & Valley Homes, as part of County Durham Housing Group, is hosting ‘The Big Breakfast’ to help residents to make healthy food choices when they get up in the morning.

From toast and cereal, to eggs and bacon, residents can come along to Stanley Way Community Hub on Wednesday, 18 May; or Selby Close Community Hub on Wednesday, 25 May, between 9am and 11am to find out the best things to eat at the breakfast table.

Working together with ‘Wellbeing for Life’, attendees will be offered tasty breakfast alternatives, as well as have the opportunity to undergo a mini health check.

Amy Glendinning, Community Development Coordinator at Dale & Valley Homes, said: “We all know that a good breakfast can set us up for the day ahead, but it can sometimes be unclear what the best options are.

“By coming along residents will have access to free advice, as well as try some tasty breakfast bites, to make sure what they are eating is right for them and their families.”
