Parents and members of the community have also been invited to see the children recognised for their achievements over the course of the year.

Ayresome Primary Headteacher Lisa Biggin said: “Awards days and prize giving are an important opportunity to celebrate the many achievements and successes of our young people.

“The school’s successes also depend on the positive partnerships we build with the local community, so I’m thrilled that representatives of the local business are able to play such an important role in our Annual Celebration of Achievement.

“Their contribution to such a worthwhile event helps to promote the pupils’ academic personal achievement and can only benefit the school’s profile within the wider community.”
