The High Tide Foundation champions the local area, striving to provide excellent work experience and industry-led skills programmes to youngsters on Teesside. With the River Tees as a connecting theme, High Tide rallies to raise awareness of port-related industries and the potential apprenticeships and job opportunities available within them.

With the aim to celebrate and raise money for the region’s aspirational young people and to spark collaboration between both industry and education, the Foundation is on with preparation for the event which will be held at the prestigious Wynyard Hall on September 18th.

Sticking with its incredible ethos to support local talent, High Tide have secured North-East singer-songwriter, Samantha Durnan and four-piece pop-rock band, Collectors Club; also hailing from the area.

Samantha Durnan, who has already supported the likes of Ed Sheeran, The Hoosiers and Beverley Knight, will take to the stage to entertain High Tide industry and education members, as well as other guests from local businesses and the wider community. Joining Samantha will be BBC Introducing famous indie legends Collectors Club, who are currently making waves in the music industry following their latest release in collaboration with Grammy Award winner Steve Levine.

Attendees can expect an eclectic mix of both acoustic jams and sweet melodies from Samantha, as well as a chance to rock out with Collectors Club later in the evening. As well as this already exceptional talent, High Tide has also handpicked world-renowned saxophonist, Louise Evans to serenade guests at the drinks reception.
