Magic for all the family at Harry Potter book night

HARRY Potter fans were treated to a fun-filled evening on Thursday 2nd February.

The Harry Potter Book Night included a fancy dress prize draw, face painting and animal encounters provided by Kirkleatham Owl Centre.

Sweets and treats and wand-making opportunities were also on offer at the hugely popular event which was held at Stockton Central Library.

Councillor Norma Wilburn, Stockton-on-Tess Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, leisure and Culture, said: “This free event was absolutely brilliant and everybody who attended had a wonderful time.

“There was a variety of activities and everybody left with a smile on their face. The Harry Potter books are an amazing read!

“Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting Stockton Borough Council events coming up in 2017.”
