A leading North East property, care and leisure group has registered a new company secretary with Companies House.
Newcastle-based Malhotra Group PLC has appointed experienced solicitor Aman Sehgal – who has worked with and advised the Group for several years – to the position.
Aman is a consultant at Keystone Law, Newburn previously having spent 15 years with Womble Bond Dickinson. Aman is an experienced restructuring practitioner and works alongside SME businesses of all sizes up to international PLCs.
His appointment comes at a time of significant growth for Malhotra Group PLC, which owns some of Tyneside’s most popular hotels, bars and restaurants, along with a portfolio of residential care home facilities under its Prestwick Care division.
Among its current projects are the building of a 64-bedroom hotel at the Three Mile Inn site, Gosforth, three new care home schemes in Alnwick, Sunderland and Whitley Bay, and new food and beverage additions to their New Northumbria Hotel business in Osborne Road, Jesmond.
In addition, the company will imminently be submitting formal plans for a 111 bedroomed hotel scheme in Grey Street, Newcastle.
